About Aquacorp

Based in Underdale (western suburbs), Aquacorp is a small to medium, highly productive, successful South Australian business. They are industry leaders, and Australia’s one stop import, wholesale distributor of water treatment equipment, components and drinking water systems.

With quality at the forefront of everything they do, Aquacorp are well established in their market, and their services and products sought after by a large range of customers.

About the role

With the majority of their equipment sourced from overseas, Aquacorp are seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Officer/Administration Assistant to manage the accounts payable function of their international trade.

Dealing with high value/high volume of invoices, you will be responsible for:

  • The preparation and processing of foreign currency invoices
  • Account reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier queries
  • Managing credit claims

You will work closely with the Office Manager and Managing Director to ensure the smooth and timely running of the overall accounts function, whilst making sure company policy around approval limits are adhered to.

While MYOB is their core accounting package, you will also be required to use other systems and manage Excel spreadsheets to capture the required invoicing data.

Skills and Experience

Given the complex nature of their accounts function, it is a key requirement that you have extensive experience in managing the accounts payable function with an SME, ideally with experience in paying foreign currency invoices. You will be proficient in the use of Excel and MYOB, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

A high level of attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively. Being a small business, Aquacorp are seeking someone who is reliable, professional and happy to be flexible and assist other areas of the business as required.
