Bookkeeper

The Australia Day Council of South Australia (ADCSA) is an independent, non-profit, membership-based association located in the CBD. The role
ADCSA are seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a permanent part time basis (15 hours per week) to manage the day-to-day accounts functions, a small fortnightly payroll and provide general operational support to a small, yet busy team.
Your day to day responsibilities in this varied, hands-on role will include:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Processing a fortnightly payroll including all statutory requirements
- General Ledger Reconciliations
- Preparation of financial reports
- Cashflow forecasting and management
- General Administration duties
Skills and Experience
Due to the critical nature of this role, it is essential that you have extensive experience managing the end-to-end accounts process to trial balance, together with payroll experience (using MYOB).
A high level of attention to detail is a must, as are exceptional time management and organisational skills. You will be mature minded with a willingness to assist others and be comfortable working within a small team environment.
Previous experience working within a not-for-profit organisation is required, as are relevant Tertiary qualifications and an intermediate level of proficiency in Excel.
