A South Australian owned and operated manufacturing business with offices located in all east coast capital cities, is seeking to appoint an IT Support Officer.

This role will ideally suit an individual who has recently graduated and looking for the opportunity to kick start their career.     As the IT Support Officer, your  focus will be on performing upgrades and updates, assisting and providing L1/2 support for all users of ERP  and other systems.
 
Responsibilities

  • Providing quality, responsive and courteous IT support to all users
  • Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc
  • Installation and undertaking of minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
  • Overseeing the daily performance of computer systems
  • Setting up equipment for users
  • Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Maintaining of records of daily data communication transactions
  • Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
  • Managing the IT security including documentation
  • Assist and support users on a variety of management systems

Skills and Qualification

Ideally,  you will have gained some experience in providing 1st and 2nd level IT support in a Microsoft environment, whilst completing your relevant degree.  You will also have the ability to build relationships provide an excellent customer service and possess strong communication skills

  • Understanding of IT Infrastructure including servers, wired and wireless networks
  • Experience in installation and troubleshooting of PCs, peripherals and mobile devices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to document solutions
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
