An industry leader providing quality assurance to industries worldwide is seeking to appoint a Sales Professional to drive new business growth and ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional service to both new and existing clients.
In this newly created role, you will manage key accounts within an agricultural environment, plus have an emphasis on developing new business opportunities for their recently established service offering in genetic testing.
Ideally you will possess scientific qualifications, a research background in genetics or agriculture as well as some sales experience.
- Secure new business opportunities and facilitate the growth of existing accounts
- Meet set monthly targets
- Attend events and customer visits
- Increase the organisation’s profile within relevant sectors
- Strengthen relationships with new and existing clients
- Manage the tender process when required
This fast-paced environment will suit a highly driven and extremely organised person who can show initiative and manage multiple activities effectively. You will thrive on developing and building strong relationships, and can work independently to achieve and exceed targets whilst enjoying the management of sales through to completion.
A background in research within genetics and/or agriculture is a must, as is some sales experience.
